Oprah's History
 Oprah Winfrey is a woman who is admired by all media. Oprah was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi on January 29, 1954 to parents Venita Lee and Vernon Winfrey. At an early age, she went to live with her father after being sexually abused by several other male relatives in the care of her mother. When Oprah attended high school in Tennessee; she began broadcasting career as a newswoman for a Nashville radio station. Oprah attended Tennessee State University earning her a BA in Speech and Performing Arts. Oprah’s passion for broadcasting continued as a news anchor women and reporter for a Nashville television station as the first Black African American woman. Her biggest career move came when she was moved from the news anchor women to the new talk show host of the “early morning talk show”. Ranking the highest most successful television talk show viewed by 20 million people. As of today, Oprah Winfrey is an actress, producer, and philanthropist.
 
Oprah’s Mission
Oprah Winfrey love and passion for understanding people lives has touched some many people. Oprah Winfrey is the only Black African American Women to become a Billionaire and achieve so much in her lifetime. Women all over the world wants to know how to live better and they watch her show and she promises them how to strive to be a better person.
