Oprah Winfrey next chapter is working with awarding-winning Actor and Director Tyler Perry.  Tyler Perry coming to the network will bring all his television series and projects, the first of which will be two new scripted shows to premiere next year.  Oprah feels that Tyler Perry can bring a wealth of knowledge as a filmmaker and entrepreneur best known for his madcap comic character “Madea”.  He has entered an exclusive partnership with OWN to make the network his "singular destination.
The partnership with Tyler Perry will be a will mark for the first scripted programming every done on Oprah Winfrey “OWN” cable station. Oprah has stated “I have been looking forward to the day when we would be in the position to enter the world of scripted television and the day has come,” CEO of OWN. “We are all energized by the opportunity to collaborate with Tyler who has a proven track record for producing highly successful cable series. He has an incredible ability to illuminate life stories and characters in his unique voice and inspires and encourages people all over the world.”


Oprah Winfrey “OWN”  and The Huffington Post Media Group with be launching a new “HUFFPOST OWN” with a new destination for inspiration online for her readers. Oprah hopes with her promotional mix for the new venture for her magazine and OWN cable channel she will target a consumer/promotion audience.

The Huffington Post is a Pulitzer Prize-winning source of breaking news, features, and entertainment, as well as a highly engaged community for opinion and conversation. Oprah mass communication enables her to reach reader she has never reach before. The Huffington Post has 38.5 million monthly unique visitors posting over 6.5million comments each month. The site has over 30,000 bloggers -- from politicians, students and celebrities to academics, parents and policy experts -- who contribute in real-time on the subjects they are most passionate about. The Huffington Post has editions in the UK, Canada, Quebec, France, Spain and Italy.

Oprah Winfrey Next Year 2013 Uncoming Series for "OWN" 
Oprah's Next Chapter" (Sundays, 9 p.m. ET/PT) The primetime series features Oprah Winfrey as she steps outside of the studio for riveting, enlightening and in-depth conversations with newsmakers, celebrities, thought leaders and real-life families. The series has given OWN some of its highest ratings ever hitting #1 in its time period among Women 25-54 and Women 18-49. The series is produced by Harpo Studios.
